‘Annals of Ayurvedic Medicine’ ( AAM) is oriented to act as a platform commissioning the communications between practitioners , researchers, academicians and policy makers in the field of Ayurveda. Its primary focus is application based appreciation of Ayurveda in India but with a constant watch for its benefits which can be offered to the mankind surpassing the geographical and cultural boundaries. To meet its objectives, AAM invites contributions from researchers, philanthropists and practitioners on Ayurveda and allied areas from across the world. AAM welcomes the articles which are surpassing the conventional boundaries of understanding science and philosophy and which are acting as the conduits to bridge various spheres of knowledge for their mutual understanding and applications. Cross and inter disciplinary researches and hypothesis are therefore welcomed at AAM. The article submitted to AAM should have an essential component of novelty and immediate or remote translational value. There can be the articles on clinical, interventional or observational researches and reviews related to Ayurveda and allied sciences. Guest editorials, opinions, Case reports, case series, hypothesis, book reviews, life profiles, short communications, conference reports and letter to the editor are also welcome as a submission to AAM. To provide an opportunity to students to publish and so to improve their writing skills, AAM has a special column as ‘Student’s corner’. ‘AYUSH public health perspective’ is a new segment opened recently in AAM focusing upon public health promotive possibilities of various AYUSH interventions.  Â
AAM is currently included in UGC-CARE list of approved Journals list under Science category for consideration of its publications for various career promotion schemes under the mandate of UGC.
