A Positive Insight is required for the Bright Future of Ayurveda Education

Abstract
Ayurveda is the way of life and its applications are based on the principles derived from the universal laws of nature. This ensures that the basic principles of Ayurveda are very systematic, ubiquitous and reproducible in similar conditions. These qualities of Ayurveda perfectly fit with the existing definition of science.But truly speaking Ayurveda is not simply a science but it is an art too which needs an individual pursuit of perfection. This essence of Ayurveda must reflect in its teaching, learning and practice. In this era of rapid advancements in various walks of life, teaching and learning of Ayurveda should not be limited to the dispensing of information and its recall. Brain should not be utilized merely for storage but essentially as an
‘intelligent processor’. Collecting the dots is less productive than connecting the dots.
