Abstract
ABSTRACT
Masha and yastimadhu are explained as best vrushya dravyas and do possess shukrala property. These shukrala davyas expected to contribute positive results in infertility and impotency hence to evaluate shukrala dravyas will increase sperm count so an attempt was made in this regard to cross verify with animal experimental study further to provide valid scientific data for reference claimed with spermatogenic activity study. Masha & yasthimadhu chuena were was prepared as per reference of and subjected for evaluation of its spermatogenic activity in Wister strain albino rats
Materials and Method: Three groups samples of animals treated with yastimadhu powder suspension, Masha churna suspension and control group Propylene glycol yastimadhu powder suspension 180 mg/ ml for 200 grm bow wt of rat, Masha churna suspension 180 mg/ ml for 200 grm bow wt of rat and control drug Propylene 1 ml per rat. For 30day duration. By the end of study duration animals were sacrificed & isolated organs were sent for histomorphology study.
Result & Discussion: -
Masha & Yastimadu have shown spermatogenic activity, among both masha has shown better results in all parameters like increase in body weight after compare to before study. Comparatively increased weight in reproductive organs, biochemical parameters, hormones and sperm elements.

Key words: Shukrala karma, Masha Churna, Yashtimadhu Churna, propylene glycol. Spermatogenic activity
