In Ayurvedathese clinical features are co-related with GambhirVatarakta and treatment principles include Raktamokshana Virechana, Basti. The case was treated with Jaloukavacharana (Leech therapy), Virechana (Purgation) and Vrana Chikitsa (Shodhana and Ropana).
Results– Clinical improvements were seen in parameters like pain, swelling, itching and wound. The time taken for complete healing of the ulcer was two months.
